Abstract

Jambi's economy in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2023 experienced a growth of 4.15 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field experienced the highest growth of 14.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions serving Households experienced the highest growth of 7.99 percent.

The economic structure of Jambi Province in the second quarter of 2024 is dominated by the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Fields which contribute the most to the GDP of 34.10 percent. Meanwhile, on the expenditure side, GDP is widely used by the Goods and Services Export Component by 66.87 percent.
