Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The NTP of Jambi Province in June 2024 was 155.21, an increase of 2.29 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 2.78 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) also increased by 0.48 percent. In Jambi Province, the January-June 2024 NTP increased by 7.28 percent compared to the January-June 2023 NTP. In June 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Jambi Province by 0.59 percent due to an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group by 0.89 percent; Clothing and Footwear 0.0
